Engaging with my community; meeting people from around the world

“Best thing I learned from AFS is that “Expect the unexpected”, and this really turned my perspective of my life and due to that, today I am exposed to the reality of the world and ready for whatever it will throw at me. World has its own bitter and better ends and because of AFS I was able to feel and even see both together. This is how it made a difference in my life. Today I am really glad that I can proudly share my experience with anyone.”

—Biju Philip, AFS  Returnee & Volunteer
